This weekend, I visited my friend, Taren of Oslo and Alfred at the Charity Craft Show in Yokohama. Taren is an American illustrator based in Tokyo, and she and I collaborated to make the feather print dress for my SS13 collection. It was held at a place called Imperial Gallery in Motomachi, Chukagai, which means Yokohama China town. Taren and other crafters hosted a show on October 19th and 20th, 2013 and part of their revenue will go toward the people in Northern Japan, where a lot of damage occurred during the earth quake.
Pretty vintage-inspired jewelry. I picked one up for myself (the necklace on the far left). Live music (classical guitar) outside of the gallery by Nathan, Taren’s husband!
I love the pretty display. The tray, vintage milk glass dish and ring holder. I bought one print for my sewing room, “S for Studious“.
I borrowed these Oslo and Alfred pendants for SS12 collection lookbook.
Left: Selfie in front of the mirror… wearing new Chasing the Waterfall skirt (coming to the shop soon), DIY sheer jacket and Rag and Bone Harrow booties (got them on sale!). Right: Taren wearing the scarf she made, with the fabric she designed! This little one came with me too!
