Last month, I had an honor to help out Taren of Oslo and Alfred for her new product photo/video shoot in Kichijyoji, Tokyo. Taren is an illustrator, and we collaborated for my SS2013 collection, where I made a dress using one of the prints she designed (we ordered the fabric through Spoonflower). This time, Taren made Japanese furoshiki using her adorable prints. Furoshiki is a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth traditionally used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods. In her video, I’m showing how you can turn the furoshiki to an eco bag and backpack. We had a fun day of shooting! I am usually acting as a stylist for shoots, so it felt a bit strange to be a model, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. All the images via Oslo and Alfred Blog
P.S. I’m wearing the white tank dress I made for myself, blogged here.
