11 Months old this week! Kiko and I had a play date today with my friend and her 2 year old daughter. We went to a local to a petting zoo. It was fun! The weather finally warmed up a bit, it felt great walking around in the sunny warm weather. I made dresses for both Kiko and I using the lace fabric and neon piping I recently bought, but I did not get to take clear photos of them so more on that later. I was a bit embarrassed to wear too matchy-matchy clothes, so I tried to tone it down down with different color cardigans – gray for me and pink for Kiko.
I enjoy reading “parenting ups and downs” posts at Jen Loves Kev, and so I documented my ups and downs this week:

I love the dresses… You and Kiko-chan look gorgeous with cardigans!
My boys sometimes had nappy rash, too, although I used cloth nappys. I rarely had rash because of disposable pads but since using cloth pads it’s been really comfortable. The best thing is…they are sooooo cute! Some clever women make their own nappys and pads but I usually enjoy buying those women’s creation 🙂

Thank you Natsuko san! I wonder if the cloth diapers help. It is obvious that the stretchy part of the diaper is irritating Kiko’s skin..since it rubs against the skin. It looks so painful, but thankfully at least it doesnt seem to bother her too much. If it doesn’t get well soon I’m taking her to the doctor!

Ohh Chie! Look at little Kiko all grown up. She is growing so well and so quickly!!!
Try changing nappies more frequently. I used to change my son’s diapers at each feeding, so we go through 5 to 6 nappies daily – even when they aren’t soiled or used. That plus some diaper free time daily helps, I think.
Enjoy motherhood!!
p/s: matchy-matchy dresses look soooo adorable!

You two look so sweet in your white lace dresses! I love the neon piping– it’s such a fun touch! You guys don’t look too matchy-matchy at all!
