{Pintuck details on the sleeves for Strawberry Koi Dress}
{Heart in the back!}
{New business cards using The Ink Nest‘s clip art (I used flower monograms)}
One girl kindly commented on facebook that the poppies in the back might make the look too cluttered. What do you think? I am not a great graphic designer, and welcome any criticism!

{Working on peplum top in star print (similar to the polkadot one here)}
What sewing project are you working on this week? Has your sewing life slowed down as it is summer now?
Ginger says
Ooh, I love that strawberry koi dress! And I think the business cards are really pretty. My sewing life has slowed down, but just because I’ve started a new and more demanding job, so I can’t get anything done on weeknights anymore. No fun!

Is your start print fabric from Nippori? It’s cute!
I don’t think my sewing life slowed down: I sew a little bit every day. Even if the heat does not stimulate my neurons to work, I’ve almost finished Colette’s Lily sundress!!
Chie says
yes! the fabric is from nippori. i got it a few months ago. only got 2 meters of it! i always regret not buying more.
Inna says
that’s always the temptation in Nippori~

The dress is really pretty. And I think the cards are great – not too cluttered. I like the symmetry.
