Happy belated Father’s Day! We celebrated Father’s Day with a handmade chocolate cake. I got the recipe online, and you only need chocolate bars and eggs to make this cake! It was easy and delicious. Instead of baking it in the oven, I used a rice cooker to steam it. I added this DIYed “I love daddy” garland on cake on behalf of Kiko.
As for the gift – we have a price limit of $20 because we decide on more expensive purchases together. With the price limit it forces you to be a bit more creative. This time I found three 60 minute golf lessons for 2500 yen on Groupon, and decided that would be it 🙂 Andy liked the gift. For my dad, I sent wine – I usually rotate his gifts between wine and books..
P.S. Last year’s Father’s Day we did this 🙂
