This weekend flew by! Although since I’m on maternity leave, weekend means less than when I was working Mon-Fri..:p
On Friday, my in-laws left Japan after their 10-day stay in Japan. It was their first time visiting us in Japan. I hope they had a good time. On Saturday, I had a lunch with my friend, while my husband watched the baby. I felt like a human again, going out on my own to meet my girl friend, and I’m so thankful to have a husband who is willing to let me take a break! We went this natural food buffet place, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I could not eat as much as I wanted to. I feel like my appetite is down compared to when I was pregnant. When I was pregnant, all I thought about was food! Everything tasted so good…perhaps it’s a good thing that I don’t have the same appetite now, as I’m trying to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight..Did everyone have a nice weekend?

This weekend I tried to catch up on my google reader. Since having Sophia Kiko, I’m so behind on my blog reading. While going through my favorite blogs, I found out Casey from Casey’s Elegant Musings tried my scalloped waist skirt pattern (guest post at Grosgrain here)! I am so honored! and I love her version of the skirt. She lengthen the skirt length, and it looks fabulous on her.
If you’ve tried the pattern, I would love to see your skirt! Please send me an email with some photos or link to your blog post so I can feature it here.
I also made another one of scalloped waist skirt in blush rose, and posted in my shop. I have more fabric left, so I can custom make to fit different sizes also. I made the same skirt in gray velvet, and it will be posted in shop soon..just need to take some pictures.
Last but not least, did you know that etians around the world is organizing craft party on June 10th? They are having one in Tokyo as well on June 11th, Saturday, in Shibuya. More details are here. I won’t be able to attend the craft workshops, but maybe will be stopping by later that day:)
